Richfield High School is the only public traditional high school in Richfield, Minnesota, and also the only public high school in the area that is a college preparatory school. Richfield, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis located directly south of the Minneapolis city limits. The school, administered by Richfield Public Schools, has a total enrollment of about 1,500 students in grades 9-12. In 2005, the administration introduced a new grade level policy: the number of credits a student has determines their academic grade level. Under the new policy, a student with less than eight credits is designated as part of the freshman class, regardless of age. Also introduced in 2005 was the "Spartan Crew" program designed to orient new freshmen to RHS and ease the transition from middle school to high school. This program is comparable to "link programs" currently in place at other area high schools. Each team consists of seniors, and each member of the team is in charge of 3-10 freshman, who become that senior's "crew". == Notable alumni == * Steve Christoff, former NHL player (Minnesota North Stars, Calgary Flames, Los Angeles Kings), member of "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Olympic hockey team * Damian Rhodes, former NHL player (Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Atlanta Thrashers) * Darby Hendrickson, former NHL player (Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota Wild, Colorado Avalanche) *Dave Jarzyna, author of the book ''Slump''〔http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/1084154.Dave_Jarzyna〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Richfield High School (Minnesota)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
